Recently, Yamaha Percussion published a list of college drumlines on Twitter, ranked by their Klout scores. That got us thinking. We looking into Klout a little more and after connecting a few more of our social media profiles, our score went up.
Yamaha’s list focuses on each drumline’s use of social media—not on their repertoire or playing. Here’s what their original post had to say about it:
So, in 2014 we starting an annual list of the Top Collegiate Drumline Twitter feeds. (Klout scores are the primary metric (with ties broken by the number of Twitter followers). Check it out. Did we miss anyone? Comment below and let us know on twiter at @YamahaPerc.
We took the liberty of updating the list based on our new Klout score. As of today, here’s the list of college drumlines using Twitter (and probably other social media too), 2014 version. Thanks to Yamaha Percussion for compiling the list and for a great idea. You know we’re a Pearl line through and through, but the Yamaha crew does great work promoting percussion across the web. Keep up the good work, Yamaha!
